Qatar Airways: Doha, Qatar - Paris, France

So after barely 2 hours of sleep, my in-laws and I took a ride to Doha airport. Our stay together was indeed too short, but nevertheless I am glad I was able to go out of the airport and see them. I most probably won't be able to see them when they come to Cebu in January so I was happy for the opportunity to see them now. My flight leaving Doha was at 8:30AM and I was sitting down comfortably preparing myself for the rest of the trip - 7 hours.

Movies and games were my friend throughout the trip, but both were the same for the two flights. If I wasn't eating you could find me watching Transformers, play Tetris, and wait in line for the comfort room.

The flight to Paris was pretty much the same as the one going to Doha except the flight was 2 hours shorter and the plane was slightly bigger. But other than that, the flow was similar. During the first hour, we were given our breakfast (sorry, no photos this time). Choices were Strawberry Pancakes with a Creme Anglaise or Mushroom Crepes. I went with the crepes, which were cooked with a white sauce and spinach. We were also given croissant and bread with butter and jam, as well as fresh fruits. It was well-served.

An hour before our final destination we were again given a hot snack, which was a hot sandwich with chicken, red bell pepper, tomato, and onion. I was still full so I stashed the sandwich in my bag and drank a solo coffee instead. We had the same complimentary drinks, which my neighbor took full advantage of by drinking a couple of glasses of whisky and at least 5 small bottles of French red wine. Honestly, I have to be honest but I was a little worried for the landing, but nothing happened. I landed in Paris, France at 2:00PM with a beautiful sun in the clear sky and my 2 luggages in hand. I was a sight to see! Next stop : finding my way to my sister's house in Lorraine.

*On board the plane, I talked with a Filipina woman from Manila, who was joining a group of Filipino tourists who were already in Paris. I could tell she was excited for her trip, but also a little worried in finding her way to her hotel. I couldn't help much because I was taking the train straight from the airport. I wonder how she's doing with her trip.
