Have a Blessed Easter!!!

Easter for me this year is nothing like I imagined it to be. I was browsing through my old blog posts last night and I stumbled on a series I made on Imperial Palace Waterpark Cebu. That's when I realized that was during our Easter stay last year! Time sure flies fast! That's partly why I love doing this blog. With all the changes going around me, I tend to forget events in my life, but I can always go back and relive them through my blog.

My family back home followed our tradition of staying overnight at a resort for Easter Sunday. We're not the type to go away the whole week. My little girl woke up super early this morning to be a little angel for the first time at the Basilica Del Sto. Nino and then the family proceeded to go to a resort in Mactan for the Easter activities. I just received a message from the hubby that she enjoyed the Easter egg hunt and swimming. I am glad to know that they are having a great time. As for me, I am stuck at home alone with a bad cold. It's been 2 days and I thought it would go away on its own, but this spring cold is here to stay apparently and I finally took some medicines this morning. My sister, brother-in-law, and niece are enjoying Paris and are coming back home tomorrow. If I feel better later, I will start on some household chores (I've already put some clothes in the washing machine). I declined AN's offer (my brother-in-law's other sister) to eat lunch at their house to rest, but my nephew is there right now. But don't feel too sorry for me; I am fine! So enjoy your Easter Sunday wherever you are, with your family and friends, eat and drink well, and never forget what this day truly means for us.
