T'Chitcho Pizza & Snack at Morhange, France

I am struggling. I've come to a point in my journey where I need to find some light to know that I am heading in the right direction. I thought I did with the purchase of my car. Which it has in a little way, but it's slowly fading and hitting me with reality. The reality is that bills are piling up and although I can still keep up each month, I need some change. I woke up this morning with the desire to move out of my sister's house. And it's a strong desire. After almost 6 months, it is time to get myself my own place, even if it is a little studio at first. I am mentally counting how much it will cost me and it can pass, but just by. I need a stable job. There, I said it. I need to find a good job.

The first few months here was getting my papers straightened out. That has been dealt with now. I've been sending my resumes online. I've been getting calls, I've been going to interviews - nothing successful yet. I am done with interim jobs, now it's time to have something to hold on in the long run. So today I started with printing resumes and motivation letters, folding them properly, and tucking them in enveloppes to be sent. I'm doing this the old-fashioned way, but looking online as well. I've taken the initiative to go through the yellow pages and just sending out resumes, even in places that aren't particularly looking to hire someone in hope that when they see what I have for myself, they would consider something. And I've been praying.

T'Chitcho is more than a pizza place - as what I thought of at first. They also serve Flammes, Salades / Salads, Menu Bambino / Menu for children, Sandwiches, Frites / French Fries, Nuggets de Poulet / Chicken Nuggets, Potatoes, Paninis, and Drinks.

I was just about to finish my day's work, when my nephew came home with a friend. My niece and I had initially decided to make simple sandwiches - casse-croute, but we couldn't do that with a guest in tow. So we ordered pizzas. There are no home delivery systems here - you call the pizza place, order, they give you a time for pick-up, and we go to pick up the pizzas. Tonight, we order from T'Chitcho in Morhange. I was undecided between two pizza choices and because of a coin toss, I get the Salmon Pizza.

Saumon Pizza avec tomate, saumon, oignon, creme, et mozzarella.
Salmon¨Pizza with tomato, salmon, onion, cream, and mozzarella.

The pizza was good, a change from what I usually eat here which is a lot of meat. But would I order this the next time? Hmmmm, maybe not. The salmon was smoked and super duper salty! I swear I must have drank about 2 liters of water during and after the meal. But otherwise, it was good and there were enough pieces of each ingredients. You can tell from the photo above that there isn't much to complain about.

Some of their choices:

Tchitcho Pizza-tomato, ham, mushroom, onion, boiled egg, mozzarella, olive
Chausson Reine (Calzone) - tomato, ham, mushroom, egg, cream, grated emmenthal cheese
Flamme- cream, bacon, onion
Salade Poulet (Chicken Salad)- lettuce, chicken breast, cooked egg, tomato, onion, vinaigrette
Vosgien Sandwich - lettuce, hamburger, bacon, cream, onion, gruyere cheese
