Baked Daurade with Tomatoes and Lemons

Not much going on today. I'm still recovering from the 300+ Euros bill I paid at the grocery store yesterday! Granted I did have a full grocery cart and it looked like we bought half of the store, but still. Food is freaking expensive nowadays. It's no wonder it takes a huge chunk of our monthly budget. I still can't get over it! I don't think I've ever paid that much for food at once. I didn't get anything expensive, if you're trying to guess what I got, just what we need for hopefully the next 2-3 weeks. Of all the stuff I bought, I bought a whole fresh Daurade fish, also known as Sea Bream. Dad has not too many fish recipes and I decided to make one of them today.

Prep the fish, in and out. After cleaning, rinse with water, then tap dry with a kitchen towel.

Transfer the fish on a piece of aluminum foil. Season the insides of the fish with salt and black pepper. Stuff with tomato and lemon slices. Top the fish with more tomato and lemon slices. Season with more salt and black pepper.

Fold over the aluminum foil so that it wraps the fish.

Bake in a 200 degrees preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven. Serve hot and enjoy!
