Cherry Tomatoes, Ham, Cheese, Green Olives, and Pasta Salad


This afternoon, we went to pick up SO from my sister's house because a special someone is celebrating her 5th birthday tomorrow!!! We had to hurry though because I had to go to the store for a last minute shopping buy for her party. While tomorrow is her official date of birth, we are having her birthday party with her friends on Saturday. But tomorrow will be special too because we are spending the whole day at the newly renovated French amusement park, Parc Walygator. I can't wait to write about our adventures this week, but in the meantime let me share with you this Cherry Tomatoes, Ham, Cheese, Green Olives, and Pasta Salad I quickly prepared for dinner tonight.



It always starts with the vinaigrette. A simple vinaigrette. One part vinegar, 3 parts oil. Salt. Pepper. Salad seasonings. And because I still had some young white onion, I added those in the mix after slicing them.



Cook your choice of pasta until al dente. Drain well. On another thought, you might want to start with this so the pasta is drained and cooled completely before putting it in the vinaigrette.



While I always have a bottle of green olives at home and cherry tomatoes when they are in season, I bought the cubed ham and cubed cheese because I had this salad in mind.

Add the green olives, cherry tomatoes, ham, and cheese.



Mix together well so that everything is evenly coated.



Dinner is served: Cherry Tomatoes, Ham, Cheese, Green Olives, and Pasta Salad
