Beef and Carrots Stir-Fry

It's another Monday. Another week. SO is on the second week of her winter break and she is spending it at home. Thankfully, it is scheduled to be a hot and sunny week, so we can organize indoors and outdoors activities. Speaking of outdoors activities, it is time to take care of the fruit and vegetable garden. Did you know that where I live now, almost everyone has their own fruit and vegetable garden? Your own potatoes, carrots, leeks, onions, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and etc ... growing in your own backyard! I always thought that that was amazing! And this year, I am given the opportunity to do that. My sister finds my excitement cute, but to me, it feels like one of my dreams coming through. Oh, I do dream about it at night. I already know what I want in my jardin and what I want to do with it. I dream of homemade jams, savory tarts, soups, salads....And perhaps, someday, making this Beef and Carrots Stir-Fry dish again but this time with my carrots. My carrots from my garden!!!

Heat the wok on high heat and add some oil.

Add to the wok sliced onion, carrots strips, and ginger strips. Stir continuously for 5 minutes.

Add the beef strips. Stir until the meat lightly changes color.

Add 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and half a glass of water. Stir together.
Season with black pepper. Turn off the heat.
Serve hot and enjoy!
