In a span of 2 years, we unfortunately lost several members of our family. Sadly, my husband lost his mother and grandmother and I lost my father. These are big losses for us, especially as these are persons who have had a big influence on us. We have picked up the pieces and gradually moved on, but I realize that from the day they physically left us, life was never gonna be the same.
Today is my Mother-in-Law's birthday. March 15. If I'm not wrong, she would have been 62 years old today. My 5 year old daughter, SO, did not forget that it was her "Mommy's" birthday today. My father lived with us and was constantly with SO, but she was also very close to her other grandparents. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw her preparing her afternoon gouter in the kitchen and said when she saw me, "Quick Maman, get your camera. Take a picture of this, this is for Mommy." <3 <3 <3

*In case you're wondering, SO prepared a Homemade Croissant and decorated it to her liking.
