McDonald's in St. Avold, France
So it was about 5PM when the Circus Show (click here) ended and no one really wanted to go home yet. MR and I stood on the grass, balancing from one foot to the other, while watching SO running around with other lingering kids. Going home now meant that our little family outing was ending. Plus it was one of the those early evenings where I didn't want to be bothered figuring out what we would eat for dinner. As much as I love cooking, I do need a break once in a while. And as much as I am well-aware that junk food and fast food is pretty damaging to our health, I need a McDonald's break once in a while. I swear I've never seen 3 people get inside a car as quickly as we did when I mentioned the McDonald's idea.
Unfortunately, the nearest McDonald's from where we live is about 37 kilometers away. Fortunately, this spells out road trip and road trips are our family's favorite past times.
Indoors and Outdoors:
Trying something new - Grand Chicago Classic
Grand Chicago Classic
-sesame burger bread, beef burger, tomato, red onion, lettuce, pickle, cheese, and a special sauce
I felt French Fries would have been a little too much, so I got a side order of the green salad.
But then again, maybe I was saving the calories for my favorite ice cream combo. I just love the creamy ice cream, the sweet/sour passion fruit sauce, and the crunchiness of the nuts!
McFlurry -vanilla ice cream, passion fruit, and mixed nuts
