Moulin Rouge in Paris, France

As I suggested in the previous blog post (click here for the post), the little train of Montmartre (le Petit Train de Montmartre) is a nice activity to do when visiting the Basilique du Sacré Coeur. The train lets you go around the area and it is commented to make sure you don't miss out anything important. I was running out of battery so I took just a few photos, but I could definitely not miss out this one.

The Moulin Rouge. Popularly known because of the 2001 film featuring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, there is more to Moulin Rouge than the movie. Located in the Pigalle area, close to many sex shops, theaters, and adults, the Moulin Rouge is a famous cabaret in France that first opened in 1889. It is the spiritual birthplace of the popular French dance, the Cancan, and is presently a very popular tourist spot. If you're worried about passing by it and missing it, just look for a red windmill on a roof!
