La Tour Eiffel in Paris, France
Meet La Tour Eiffel / The Eiffel Tower. But you probably already knew that. Being that this may be the most famous landmark around the world, no introductions are needed. A childhood friend once dreamt of me walking under the Eiffel Tower with my husband and 6 kids. I hate to disappoint her, but I did get to walk under the Eiffel Tower this year with my husband but definitely not 6 kids. Anyways, as soon as MR got to Paris we decided to go to Trocadero to see the Eiffel Tower. It was beautiful, just as I remembered it, and even more when it lit up. Sadly, MR wasn't impressed. From afar, he said that he felt like he was looking at a postcard or photos on the internet. He wanted a close up with Mr. Eiffel.
So the next day, we set to end our day on the foot of the Eiffel Tower. I was hoping this time MR would be impressed.
The jaw-dropping moment. And not just me this time.
Looking up the Eiffel Tower is amazing. You can't help, but think to yourself - how the hell did they make this?!? It's huge, impressive, and truly one of the greatest wonder of the world.
Timeless greatness. Pure magnificence.
You haven't been to paris if you haven't gone to to the Eiffel Tower.
