Torti'as in Semecourt, France
It's Thursday morning and it's the start of yet another long weekend. Yay! I could definitely get used to this. Although I probably shouldn't because next week is going to be a very busy one again. So today is a public holiday because it is Ascension, celebrated forty days after Easter. We are eating lunch at my sister's house and I thought I would squeeze in some time to update the blog.
Torti'as is the first Mexican fastfood type of place I've had the chance to try since I've been in France. And it's right by one of the companies I work for, which makes it really great to have a quick and delicious lunch.
Everytime I am here, I am always reminded of this great Burrito place I used to go to in Cebu, Philippines. Burrito Bar - click here, here, here, and here. I've always loved that place and I can't help but wonder if they are still open.
Torti'as has a pretty varied menu. They have salads, burgers, wraps, bagels, tapas, fajitas, quesadillas, and tacos. But I'm a sucker for Burritos.
I ordered the Menu Mexico (8 Euros), which included:
-Burrito (25 cm)
-Coke / Water
For the Burrito, you have the choice between marinated chicken, ground beef, beef strips or vegetarian. I chose the Beef Strips today. It was wrapped with a whole wheat tortilla and accompanied of rice, beans, cream, grated cheese, and salsa. It was delicious!!!
