Buffet Breakfast in Premiere Classe Valence Nord

We're not generally big on breakfast - a cup of coffee or hot chocolate will usually suffice. But with the travelling we were going to do today, we agreed that it was best we had more than hot liquid in our tummy.

For 5.90 Euros per adult and 2.95 Euros for children, I thought the price was reasonable for a hotel.

The dining room had several tables and was clean. At 7AM, we were the first ones to have breakfast. We weren't on vacation-mode yet.

The breakfast buffet had several choices, although it was restricted to a continental breakfast. We don't really like eating breakfast and we've always preferred Filipino breakfast (think- Tapsilog, Tosilog, Cornsilog, Daing ng Bangus, Spamsilog, Puto Maya, and Sikwate), but as they say "when in Rome do as the Romans do" a.k.a. enjoy your continental breakfast.

Either way, breakfast always starts with a cup of coffee.
Usually a Café au Lait in the morning.

We could choose from: Sliced bread, Milk bread, French Baguette, Butter Croissant accompanied by fruit jam, honey, or Nutella.

There was a choice between 3 kinds of cereals and in the refrigerator, plain yoghurt, butter, applesauce and milk.

I was also happy to see that they offered orange juice too.

All happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast - John Gunther
