Now that it's been a month since we got back from our summer vacation and that the awful rainy weather is back, I can't help but think about the wonderful days we spent in the south of France last month. Being reunited to the sea after 3 long years was just amazing. Although our trip didn't go as well as we had hoped, we had a really wonderful time. I'm happy to be back at home and working, but I can't help but think about our next holidays.
In search of the sea, we finally decided to drop our bags and stay one week in Le Barcares.
We rented a mobilhome in the camping site, Le California. Camping holidays is a classic in France and a first for us. Find out in the upcoming post what we thought of our experience.
The first thing we did after settling in our mobilhome was search for the sea. You can't imagine how happy I was to breathe in the fresh air of the sea at this moment!
Not so far away from the sea was Les Cabanes du Pecheur / The Fishermen's Huts.
And just a few steps from the huts, we found the Fresh Fish Market. Niiiccceee, I told myself, while quickly taking note of this for the next day.
"O, God, thy sea is so great and my boat is so small"

The best moment of the day: taking a nice nap on the sand after swimming in the sea <3
Watching the fishermen bring in their freshest catch at the Port.
La Poissonerie / Fish Shop
The Outdoor Markets
One of SO's many playground in Le Barcares.
Fun nights at Luna Park! :)
